For his Eagle Scout project Jeremy M cleared out the basement/youth room and prepped it for painting. Jackson T, for his Eagle Scout project, painted the basement. Friends and family of all three scouts assisted in the work. In 2007 Mr. Rick Thomas was hired as Facilities Coordinator for the parish. He is overseeing all the projects at the Annex and is making many repairs himself. |

After the church was brought up to code and painted, the space was rented initially by the Korean Catholic Community and is now being rented by the Church for the Nations, a nondenominational Christian church. On the grounds, the irrigation system has been completely replaced and fresh sod planted. The exterior fencing has all been replaced. |
![]() | -Our goal is to open a preschool for children ages 3-5. The preschool will be housed in the south wing of the building. With new ownership came new obligations to repaint, to make sure sprinklers are working and to fix doors and plumbing. In addition to repairing existing bathrooms, we are installing a new large handicap-accessible bathroom, suitable for group events in the Ellis Hall and Gym. The preschool is nearly finished with the renovations. We are awaiting a certification inspection that will allow us to start taking applications. |
