Step 1 - Take a School Tour and/or Attend Open House

School Tours
We invite all interested parents to attend a school tour. They are during a school day so generally you will have a chance to meet with the principal, see the school in session and have an opportunity to ask questions. Please note that the tours are for adults only. Reservations are required. Please contact Mrs. Rodela at (818) 241-2269 to sign up for a tour. Pre-School tours can be scheduled by contacting the Pre-School office at (818) 241-2264

Open House
Join us on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 10am-12noon for our annual Open House and Art Show. See the classrooms, take a tour, talk with Faculty and Staff.

Step 2 - Submit Paperwork
The following items are required for admission to Incarnation Parish School.
Applications, for both new families and siblings are due by 3pm on Friday, February 10, 2012

• A non-refundable fee of $50.00 per child due with application
• Birth Certificate - The recommended age for kindergarten students is five years of age on or before September 1
• Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
• Copy of Immunization Record
• Preschool records / reports (if applicable)
• First Communion Certificate (if applicable)
• Transcripts including previous report cards and Standardized Test Scores (i.e. CTBS, ITBS,Stanford Achievement Test, etc)
• Release, Confidential, Emergency and Report forms

Step 3 - Testing

• Applications must be on file in the school office before a testing date is arranged.
• During the screening process, parents will have a short interview with the principal.
• Grades Kindergarten & 1st - Testing by appointment
• Grades 2nd - 8th, testing is Saturday, February 25, 2012
• $50.00 testing fee per student

October- February - School Tours
January 29th - Open House
February 11th - Applications Due
Late February - Testing and parent interviews for grades 1-8
Throughout February - Kindergarten Testing and parent interviews
Mid-March 14th - Admission letters mailed

Preference: depending on space available, placement test, submission of records, and most importantly, regular Mass attendance for all Catholic families, applicants are accepted in the following order:

1. Siblings of current students
2. Incarnation Preschool students
3. Active parishioners (registered & regularly contributing)
4. Catholics outside of the Parish
5. Non-Catholics

Please note that applications received after February 10, 2012 will be considered on a space-available basis.
