We have witnessed this past year the celebration of our Jubilee. It has been a time of special gratitude as we reflect upon the blessings of 75 years as well as look ahead to the future. Confident of God's Spirit in our midst, we endeavor to grow as a holy people! "You are living stones, built as an edifice of spirit, into a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." (1Pt2:5)
The focal process of parish life these next couple years will be "RENEW 2000". This "retreat in slow motion" promises to strengthen us in our relationship with God and with one another. I ask for your prayer and count on the willingness of each parishoner to participate.
I also ask for your continued prayer and financial support for our Parish Center project. The Center will provide a much-needed social gathering hall, meeting rooms and office space. We are off to a good and successful start with our capital campaign.
With the Eucharist as the center of community life, we must continue to be committed to each other first in prayer and then in the willingness to utilize our talents for the building of the Kingdom!
