Order of the Arrow Ordeal Campout (Camp Verdugo Oaks) for boys
selected for the OA

May 20
Board of Review

May 24-25
Little Jimmy overnight backpack (2 miles to trail camp). Go
in Saturday morning, Eat a trail lunch, set up camp, explore Mt.Islip. Come
back on Sunday morning. Good practice for June backpack.

May 27
Court of Honor

June 13-15
Henninger Flat / Wilderness Survival Merit Badge. Kids
working on merit badge hike up Mt Wilson Toll Road on Friday evening. Older boys hike down on Saturday from Mt.Wilson. Return Sunday morning together after completion on the merit badge.

June 24
Family evening Hike to the top of Mt.Hollywood from the parking
lot of the Griffith Park Observatory 6-9PM

July 8
Bike Hike During Scout Meeting 6--9 Griffith Park

July 25-27
Big Bear Lake, Serrano Campground. Good first outing for
new Webelos scouts.

Winter merit badge camp, Camp Eaton, San Gabriel Council

Boys working on Eagle: Eagle Board of Reviews are held by the Council in the third Thursday of each month. All materials must be turned in by the first business day of that month. Eagle projects must be approved by the Council before starting. The Council has sessions for potential Eagles on how to prepare and work on projects.
