Rock Climbing at REI

Troop 101 Tackles Rock Climbing By Colin T., Troop Historian The Boy Scouts of Troop 101 recently attended a rock-climbing session at the REI store in Arcadia. The store has one big rock going up about 20-30 feet. There were three possible ways to climb to the top of the rock. The older scouts took the harder way up, and when Michael D. got to the top, Mr. Doyle told him to stay there for a photo. Michael nearly slipped from waiting so long! When you were done rock-climbing, you got a chance to look around the store. Toward the end of the evening even Mrs. Lincoln and daughter Danielle got to climb the rock. All in all everybody had a good time.
